For 500 years, silence and solitude reigned in this place inhabited by monks. During the French Revolution, after the departure of the Carthusians, the inhabitants transformed it into a village. Thus was born the commune of Sainte-Croix-en-Jarez, today classified among the most beautiful villages in France and a village of character in the Loire. Installed in the buildings of the monastery, this site has kept all its authenticity.

90 m² gîte installed in the former accommodation of the Carthusian brothers, on the 1st floor of the town hall. You will appreciate its large living room with its fully equipped kitchen area, Wi-Fi access and its 2 large bedrooms with private bathrooms. Guests, with family or friends, will find peace and serenity in this comfortable cottage. which has a small garden on the ground floor. The communal parking lot is 50 m away. Football and tennis court near the gîte.
