«‘R’ du large» - Gyslain Bertholon, Maxime Bourgeaux

  • This installation by plastic artists Gyslain Bertholon and Maxime Bourgeaux presents a gathering of pigeons standing still, in silence.
    Made of cast iron and metallised zinc, this group of pigeons symbolises the relation between the individual and the crowd.

  • "150 cast-iron pigeons stand on the ground. All in the same serene posture, they seem to adhere to an invisible circle. This circle, revealed by their presence, corresponds to the personal space around each individual ("r").
