An unusual park
Of course, the park is not as big as the one in Indre-et-Loire but it is more unusual. In addition to the vegetable garden, the French gardens and the rose garden… one can walk in a bamboo grove and come face to face with forgotten animal breeds: a neo-auroch, a Rove goat, or a Milanese curly pigeon. The site overlooks the Forez plain and was the residence of the Bourbons in the 15th century. The entertaining visit gives access to two interpretation centers: one on the Forez (weaving, marine, peasant life) and another on the Loire River with several aquariums.
