The meeting place of local gastronomy

With 1,200 m2 of retail space and two tree-lined terraces, the Halles de Saint-Etienne have been given a makeover for their opening in September 2021.

Butchers, greengrocers, bakers, caterers, wine merchants, cheesemongers, fishmongers and other food shops can now be found under the same roof. More than thirty shopkeepers, all from the region, share their love for good products and living together.

A place much appreciated by the people of Saint-Etienne

Les Halles is the image of the city of Saint-Etienne: a city of diversity in full revival. When its visitors are not strolling through the aisles of the merchants, they do not hesitate to gather around the large shared tables.
